Freshers’ choir
Each August, choral singing brings together all new students beginning their studies at the Sibelius Academy.
Introduction
The Sibelius Academy’s freshman choir rehearses as part of the orientation period for new students. It performs for the rest of the University of the Arts community in connection with the opening of the semester.
The central idea of the freshman choir is to work together on approachable music.
In 2024, the choir is led by Jennifer Moir.
